Each year, U.S. News puts out the list of ‘best hospitals”, and Massachusetts General Hospital, which was No. 2 last year, reclaimed the No. 1 spot.  The Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins Hospital and the UCLA Medical Center follow at No. 2 and 3, respectively.  These rankings were based on all specialties combined.

For cancer care, the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center was No. 1.  For Cardiology and Heart Surgery, the Cleveland Clinic is No. 1, and the Hospital for Special Surgery is No. 1 in Orthopedics.
